Sentel Parfum

Shopify migration for a perfume brand selling in Morocco and France — from a limited YouCan storefront to a faster, conversion-optimised experience with bundles and upsell mechanics.

Revenue, month 1

Project summary

Shopify migration for a perfume brand selling in Morocco and France — from a limited YouCan storefront to a faster, conversion-optimised experience with bundles and upsell mechanics.

Why a simple store copy would have failed

A migration changes the catalogue, URLs, checkout and team habits at the same time. Recreating the old page on a new platform would have retained the product-discovery limits and missed bundle opportunities.

The sprint therefore addressed structure and purchase journey, not only technical transfer. Bundles and upsell mechanics were integrated into clearer discovery for customers in Morocco and France.

The commercial problem

Sentel Parfum sold in Morocco and France through a YouCan storefront limited in speed, customisation and user experience. Customers struggled to choose the right fragrance, and the store wasn't capitalising on upsell and bundle opportunities.

What was delivered

  1. 01

Migrated the full storefront to Shopify: structure, purchase journey and design rebuilt from the ground up.

  2. 02

Introduced bundle offers and average-order-value mechanics to capture upsell opportunities at checkout.

  3. 03

Improved product discovery to help customers navigate and choose fragrances with confidence.

Observed outcomes

Revenue

33% increase in revenue in the first month after launch.

Speed

Faster storefront replacing the YouCan limitations that were slowing conversions.

Conversion

Clearer purchase journey, bundles and upsell mechanics lifting average order value.

How to interpret the 33% figure

The increase covers first-month revenue after launch, as recorded in the project file. Migration, merchandising and commercial activity work together, so the result cannot be attributed to one change or generalised.

What this project shows

Launch is not the end of a migration. Orders, speed, errors and old URLs need monitoring after the switch so the team can quickly correct what testing did not reveal.

Higher revenue is useful, but it needs to be read alongside average order value, conversion rate, acquisition spend and seasonality to understand what actually improved.

Technical scope

  • Shopify
  • UX design
  • Bundles
  • CRO
  • Product pages

A migration must protect sales and search visibility

Changing platform is not a catalogue copy. Useful URLs need protection, the purchase journey must be rebuilt, payments tested, and performance tracked before and after launch.
