Odoo covers accounting, purchasing, stock, sales, HR and projects in one coherent system, with a large community and integrators available in Morocco. For a company whose processes resemble its industry's, it is hard to beat.
The ecosystem is a genuine argument: you are not dependent on a single provider, and finding someone who knows Odoo is easier than finding someone who knows a bespoke system built five years ago.
Where Odoo struggles in Morocco
Cash on delivery. Odoo is designed for a world where an order is paid at checkout. The Moroccan cycle — order, phone or WhatsApp confirmation, shipping, possible refusal, return, deferred carrier settlement — does not exist natively.
It can be modelled, and integrators do it. But it is done through custom development, which brings you back to the cost of bespoke without its flexibility.
