Shopify Agency in Morocco
We build and optimise high-performing Shopify stores for Moroccan brands: custom design, optimised checkout and local integrations (CMI payment, cash on delivery, carriers). Ready to sell from day one.
Why Shopify for a Moroccan brand
Shopify solves in days what takes months on a custom build: hosting, security, payments, catalogue management, mobile app, updates. You are not paying a team to maintain infrastructure — you are investing in what actually sells: the product, the checkout and acquisition.
It is not the right answer in every case. Here is how we decide, honestly, depending on where you are starting from.
Shopify or YouCan?
YouCan is simple and built for the Moroccan market, which makes it a reasonable way to test an offer. Its limits show up as the brand grows: design flexibility, speed, checkout refinement, average-order-value mechanics and the app ecosystem.
That is exactly the path Sentel Parfum took: a YouCan page that had become too restrictive, migrated to Shopify, with revenue up 33% in the first month. If you are already selling and the platform is holding you back, migration pays for itself quickly.
Shopify or WooCommerce?
WooCommerce is free to install, not to run: hosting, theme, paid plugins, certificates, backups, updates and security patches are all on you. The real cost reappears as maintenance, and it grows with traffic.
Shopify charges a predictable monthly subscription and absorbs the technical side. We recommend WooCommerce when you already have an in-house technical team and very specific requirements; Shopify in most other cases.
Shopify stores designed to convert
A good-looking site is not enough — it has to sell. We build fast, clear stores optimised for conversion, from the product page through to payment. Every design decision answers a measurable goal: reduce friction, reassure the buyer, increase average order value.
The product page, where the purchase is decided
Photos that work on mobile, benefits before specifications, readable variants, stock and delivery times shown, reviews visible. In categories where choosing is hard — a fragrance, a shade, a size — we add decision aids: guides, comparisons, filters that actually help.
A checkout without leaks
Most carts are lost between add-to-cart and confirmation. We cut the number of steps, show shipping costs early, offer cash on delivery where it reassures, and automatically recover abandoned carts by email and WhatsApp.
Mobile and speed first
Most Moroccan e-commerce traffic is mobile, often on 4G. We design mobile-first, compress images, limit third-party apps that bloat the store, and monitor Core Web Vitals — a slow site loses sales before it is even seen.
Average order value and repeat purchase
Bundles, relevant upsells, free-shipping thresholds, pre-orders: we install the mechanics that raise value per order without degrading the experience. That was the biggest lever at Sentel Parfum.
Payment, delivery and invoicing in Morocco
This is where most Shopify projects fail in Morocco: the store looks good but does not collect payment properly, and logistics are not wired in. We handle this first, not at the end of the project.
Collecting payment online (CMI and cards)
We integrate payment solutions suited to the Moroccan market, including CMI, plus international card gateways if you also sell abroad. We handle multi-currency setup when the brand serves both Morocco and Europe.
Cash on delivery, configured properly
Cash on delivery still dominates many categories in Morocco. Configured badly, it produces ghost orders and expensive returns. We set up order confirmation (WhatsApp or phone), simple anti-fraud rules, and tracking of successful delivery rates by zone.
Carriers and delivery tracking
We connect your local carriers to generate delivery notes automatically, sync statuses and keep the customer informed without manual work. Your team stops copying addresses between a spreadsheet and a carrier portal.
Invoicing and VAT
Compliant invoices generated automatically, continuous numbering, accounting exports your firm can actually use. Invoicing is a common blocker at the point of scaling — we frame it from the start.
Migrating to Shopify without losing your SEO
A badly prepared migration costs months of organic traffic. We map every existing URL, put 301 redirects in place one by one, keep the titles and descriptions that perform, and migrate products, customers and order history without loss.
After the switch we monitor indexation, crawl errors and rankings for several weeks — the period when problems surface, and when most providers have already left the project.
After launch: automate and steer
A running store generates repetitive work: confirming orders, issuing invoices, chasing carts, updating stock, consolidating numbers. We automate these flows so growth does not automatically translate into administrative hires.
We then connect the store to a single dashboard: revenue, average order value, conversion rate, margin per product, successful delivery rate. You steer on current numbers, not last week's spreadsheet export.
